"The environment of Labuan Bajo in the Komodo Islands is so dreamy it feels entirely otherworldly. During my January 2026 expedition, I found myself completely overwhelmed by the sheer privilege of documenting the world’s most formidable reptile in its untamed habitat. Encountering this giant beast as close as thirty feet out on the open sands of the Pink Beach was a stroke of immense luck—and the beginning of a dangerous, high-stakes game of hide and seek. Adrenaline completely overpowered any sense of exhaustion. Chasing the shot meant repeatedly dropping to the earth, laying flat on the ground to meet the apex predator at its own level. Looking through my lens, there was an absolute, spine-chilling tension as the massive dragon locked eyes with me and began walking straight toward my camera. This collection is born from those breathless moments - a raw, unfiltered glimpse into the heavy, prehistoric power of a creature that still rules its Jurassic realm."
